Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for any training or internship program at PARADOX Technology Ltd. By completing registration, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1 Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, enrolling in, or attending any program offered by PARADOX Technology Ltd ("PARADOX", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Participant", "Student", "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
If you are registering on behalf of a minor or a third party, you represent that you have the authority to bind that person to these terms.
2 Eligibility & Age Requirements
To register for a program at PARADOX Technology, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum Age: You must be at least 15 years of age at the time of registration. Applicants under 15 will not be accepted.
- Academic Level: Programs are open to TVET students (L3, L4, L5), TSS students, university students, professionals, and motivated individuals.
- Prerequisites: Some advanced courses (Embedded Systems, Robotics, Digital Manufacturing) may require prior knowledge. Prerequisites are stated on the course description.
- Parental Consent: Participants aged 15–17 may be required to submit a signed parental or guardian consent form before the start of the program.
3 Enrollment & Registration
Enrollment is subject to availability. Completion of the online registration form does not guarantee a place on the program until confirmed by PARADOX Technology staff.
- You are responsible for providing accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration.
- Providing false information — including misrepresenting your age, academic level, or identity — may result in immediate cancellation of enrollment without refund.
- A registration confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive it within 48 hours.
- Enrollment is personal and non-transferable. You may not transfer your place to another person.
- PARADOX Technology reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrollment at its sole discretion.
4 Fees & Payment
Course and internship fees are as listed on the official PARADOX Technology fee schedule and are quoted in Rwandan Francs (RWF).
- Full Payment: The total fee is payable before or on the first day of the program.
- Installment: Where installment payment is offered, the first installment is due before the start date and the second within the agreed period. Failure to pay on time may result in suspension from the program.
- MTN MoMo: Mobile Money payments must be confirmed with PARADOX staff. Provide your transaction reference number.
- Bank Transfer: Bank transfer details will be provided by PARADOX staff upon enrollment confirmation.
All payments must be made through official PARADOX Technology channels. PARADOX Technology is not responsible for payments made to unauthorized individuals.
5 Refund & Cancellation Policy
We understand circumstances change. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellation 7+ days before start: Full refund of fees paid, minus a 10% administrative fee.
- Cancellation 3–6 days before start: 50% refund of fees paid.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of start: No refund.
- After program commencement: No refund. If you withdraw after the program has begun, you will not be entitled to a refund for remaining sessions.
- Program cancellation by PARADOX: If PARADOX Technology cancels a program, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered to all enrolled participants.

6 Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to maintain a respectful, professional, and collaborative environment. The following conduct is prohibited:
- Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind based on gender, age, ethnicity, religion, disability, or background.
- Damage to, theft of, or unauthorized use of PARADOX Technology equipment, tools, or property.
- Unauthorized recording (audio or video) of instructors or fellow participants without consent.
- Academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or submitting work that is not your own.
- Disrupting classes, workshops, or the learning environment in any way.
- Use of personal devices for non-program activities during scheduled sessions.
7 Certification & Completion
Upon successful completion of a program, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by PARADOX Technology Ltd, signed and recognized by UniPod (University of Rwanda).
- Certificates are awarded to participants who attend at least 80% of scheduled sessions and satisfactorily complete all required assignments and practical work.
- Certificates will not be issued to participants who have outstanding fees at the time of completion.
- PARADOX Technology does not guarantee employment or any specific outcome as a result of program completion.
- Lost certificates may be reissued upon request, subject to an administrative fee.
8 Intellectual Property
All course materials, curricula, presentations, software, tools, and content provided during PARADOX Technology programs are the intellectual property of PARADOX Technology Ltd or its licensors.
- Participants may use provided materials for personal learning purposes only.
- Reproduction, redistribution, sale, or public sharing of course materials without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
- Projects and work created by participants during the program remain the property of the participant, unless co-created with PARADOX Technology resources, in which case a shared agreement applies.
9 Limitation of Liability
PARADOX Technology Ltd shall not be held liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings while on program premises.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from participation in our programs.
- Interruptions to program delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including power outages, natural disasters, or public health emergencies.
- Third-party services, websites, or platforms referenced or used in program materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Rwandan law, PARADOX Technology's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the participant for the specific program in question.
10 Changes to Terms
PARADOX Technology Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be published on our website and, where practical, communicated to enrolled participants via email.
Continued participation in a program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may withdraw from the program in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
